Hurricane Katrina
Bill Fisher was in Louisiana two weeks after Katrina struck to assist in the development of Jani-Kings training program to safely treat and remove toxic mold and contaminated materials from New Orleans hospitals, homes, and schools. Jani-King is the world’s largest commercial cleaning franchise company. This company searched for the highest qualified trainer in the toxic mold inspection, and remediation industry. First person to file an Administrative Rule Challenge against; The Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles. Bureau of Mobile Home & RV Construction
In 1998, Bill Fisher filed a rule challenge against the State of Florida in regards to anchors and materials used in the set-up of manufactured housing. This rule challenge was to oppose over regulation of the Manufactured Housing Industry. Bill organized Mobile Home Factories, Mobile Home Dealers, Installers, Transporters, and Service Companies all effected by this rule. Area Representative for the Federation of Mobile Home Owners (During West Cain’s Presidency of FMO).
The next year, in 1999 Bill Fisher was also the area representative for the Federation of Mobile Home Owners (FMO). The FMO had a membership of over thirty thousand members, and FMO is the main organization in Florida to fight for Mobile Home owner’s right, and challenge unfair laws that negatively impact Florida’s Manufactured Housing Community. President of the Manufactured Housing Association of Florida Inc
Mr. Fisher was also the former President of the Manufactured Housing Association of Florida. (MHAFI) Members of this organization included Mobile Home factories, dealers, and installers throughout the state of Florida. Bill Fisher rallied these professionals together to fight Florida's excessive over regulation of this industry and possible corruption of our state agencies. National Republican Congressional Council
In the years 2002 and 2003, Bill was awarded a Leadership Award by the National Republican Congressional Committee’s Business Advisory Council. Awarded Business Man of the Year in 2003, Bill Fisher was also inducted as Honorary Chairman by the majority leader. The National Republican Congressional Council’s goals are to support Republican ideas such as reduction of the federal debt and tax relief. Environmental Consultant
As a professional consultant, Bill Fisher has worked with the Department of Defense, Department of the Interior, the Mississippi State Department of Health, and the State of Florida. In 2007 Bill was awarded a letter of commendation from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for his work on state owned buildings and consultant services provided to Florida. Over Regulation of Florida’s Business by DBPR
In 2010 Bill Fisher discovered that the Florida Department of Business Professional Regulation gave a sole exclusive contract to an out of state business that was not registered with the state of Florida. The contract was given to a registered trade name not a corporation. Bill Fisher in August of 2010 requested that Federal and State authorities look into this matter. On March 11th of 2011 Mr. Fisher sent a letter of request to Governor Rick Scott and Attorney General Pam Bundi. The letter requested a delay or extension of the grandfathering date for those trying to comply with the new state guide lines related to Mold Related Industries by March 31st.
Bill Fisher is the only one who requested by letter to the best of our knowledge calling for this investigation of DBPR. With over one hundred and fifty thousand contractors, and over forty thousand mold related services companies affected here in Florida. Bill Fisher stepped forward to fight the new law that was creating hardships on Florida’s contractors by over regulating the industry, and forcing contractors to spend excessive fees to comply in an already tight economy. In some cases forcing people out of business by a very restrictive grandfathering process! Vote Fisher for your U.S. Senator to fight for you!

Christian
I consider being a Christian my greatest accomplishment! In my life I have had to reinvent myself many times over, and most of the time it was due to the economy. I have always believed in Christ but like a lot of us in our youth there were times when I thought I could go it alone. But as the years came and went I got wiser and realized that even in those days long past the Lord was watching over me even then as HE is now! To become a Christian Man and walk the walk I had to do one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, and that was to forgive my enemies. After jumping into a fight on two different state agencies in two different decades forcing some into early retirement, and exposing others involved! Brothers and sisters I have to tell you I have enemies! So in order for me to become a better man I had to forgive them! That does not mean I have to forget it! It just means I had to hand it over to the Lord. Because HE can do more to them then I could ever dream of, and that lifted the burden from my shoulders. Both of those battles were for those who lacked the ability, knowledge, or courage to defend them selves against state government. If I had to do it over again I would in a heartbeat!
I’m very happy to be a Christian and I don’t try to force it on anyone. But if you ask me about Christ I’ll be obliged to tell you how I feel, and how it saved my life! AS a Christian and as your Senator if elected I will NOT spare the rod when it comes to dealing with America’s enemies, foreign or domestic.
