Biography of A Hard Working American
William "Bill" Fisher, Jr., was born in Baltimore Maryland, and lived in Laurel Maryland before moving to Florida. His family moved to Florida while Bill was in elementary school. Bill’s father was from West Virginia and his mother from Bonifay Florida. One of the things Bill's Dad instilled in his son was, "if you can’t do a job rights then don’t do it at all. And that there is no such thing as cant!" Over the years Bill has worked in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator, Earth Mover, Motor Grader, Bull Dozers operator, and working with survey crews. Projects Bill has worked on include Interstate 10 between Holmes to Leon Counties.
In Central Florida Bill also worked on the Interstate 75 in Lee County, and Interstate 275 in Pinellas County. Bill was also involved in the building of two high schools, one elementary school, and other construction projects in Bay, Lee, and Pinellas Counties. Bill enjoys being a proud father, grandfather, and family man. Bill’s father was a business owner in the Manufactured Housing trade. As Bill grew-up he learned various trades, which included Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, and the installation of manufactured homes. Bill Fisher was honorably discharged from the Army after a knee injury, and later joined the Department of Motor Vehicles. He worked with the Florida Department of Highway Safety as a State of Florida Inspector. At the time of 911 Bill was also working for General Electric’s Modular Space Division as the Regional Branch Manager in Mobile, Alabama. General Electric is the world’s largest company. Wile working for G. E. Bill also operated his small business in Panama City, Florida.
Later in life he moved the focus of his company into the Indoor Air Quality Industry. Currently, Bill Fisher operates his own Environmental Company for Mold Inspection, Mold Remediation, and Training. He also provides litigation support for mold related problems for homes, and business. The program, which he created, is currently used in the Federal Prison System to help rehabilitate inmates.
In 2005, Bill Fisher was retained by Jani King to train first responders post Hurricane Katrina in and around New Orleans, LA. Bill worked as a vendor for the State of Florida, and for his invaluable services, He received a letter of commendation from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for work and consulting on state projects.
As a professional consultant Bill has worked with the Department of Defense, Department of the Interior, the Mississippi State Department of Health and the State of Florida. In 2002 and 2003 Bill Fisher was awarded a National Leadership Award by the National Republican Congressional Committee’s Business Advisory Council, and then later in 2003 Bill was Awarded Businessman of the Year, then later was made Honorary Chairman of the Business Advisory Council. The organization’s goals are to support Republican ideals such as tax relief and reduction of the federal debt.
When asked how his background could benefit his role as U.S. Senator, Bill stated, "I feel that I have the life experience in the fields that can help provide the infrastructure building that’s needed to promote positive growth in America. I believe that my experience can benefit all citizens and business owners alike. We need jobs here in America." Not over regulation of American Industries to limit America’s ability to compete around the world! As a current Business Owner I know just how tuff it is to stay in business! And like a lot of Americans I’m also hanging on by my finger tips! With the economy as it is right now it’s almost impossible to keep you head above water. Unlike some in Congress I communicate with the real people in America who are losing their American Dream, and I would like a chance to help them get it back. As the Peoples U. S. Senator in Washington I work for all Citizens here in Florida and America! NOT special interest or the President! I will only support legislation that promote America’s growth, fight over regulation of Americas self employed entrepreneur and do my best to lift over regulation of America’s capital industries that employees millions of Americans from coast to coast.
