 Support Christian Values! The promotion of Christian values at every level of our society is key to our survival as a nation. We as a people have to pass those values we hold so dear onto our children who are the future of our nation. Republican, Democrat, and Independent citizens will all suffer without passing these values onto those who will carry the torch of freedom into the future. We are all living on a ship called America and to keep her afloat we have to pass on the skills God has given to each of us.
Fight Tax Increases! If were going to have an effective local government taxes will have to be collected however how much is too much? When people have to sell their homes that live on fixed incomes, that’s too much! The good people of Bay County are not the ones responsible for this monster that is eating away at out bank accounts it was started by those outsiders who came into our area and started buying up everything they could get their hands on. We do have some control of our local tax increases however some of this problem will have to be fixed in Tallahassee by those we voted into office to represent us! We need to call the Governor, our Senator, and local House Representative to fix this disaster that is costing all of us! As your County Commissioner I will fight to keep your taxes as low as possible!
Improve Education! Our Children are the future of our community and as your County Commissioner I will support our Educational System by supporting those who have the difficult job as educators. New schools and equipment is only part of the equation we also have to give our unyielding support to the teachers and support staff who keep our children safe and under their watchful eyes. The new dress code is a positive step and I would also like to see closed campus during lunch period. This is an issue that could be handled by the school board and I support those changes in policy. We also need to get more financially involved in fund raising for the arts, such as chorus and band.
Protect Property Rights! As your county commissioner I will fight anyone at the County, State or Federal level who would try to pass legislation to strip the property owners right to their land and personal property. This has happened in other areas of the country were the county, city, or state thought someone’s home or neighborhood was in the way of progress. It’s your property and if you don’t want to sell then by God you should be able to keep it!
