I don’t know why we seem to get passed up for all the cream of the crop industries that has moved into South and Central Florida, Alabama and Georgia but I plan on finding out. If we need to be more aggressive in our tactics then So be it! We need those jobs! And I plan on trying to do everything in my power to get them here!

Stop Illegal Immigration! There is no doubt that times are tough all over the world and that includes America as well. A lot of us are from ancestors who for one reason or another came to America for a better life. I do not like people illegally entering the country and I will support any action within legal means to return those who come here without proper documentation to there counties of origin. The job market is tight and if contractors hire Illegal’s then they should be fined. I would like to see some of these contracted hire our local High School students for summer jobs so they can earn money, learn a trade, and build confidence in them selves. I was always taught that charity starts at home.

The New Bay County Airport: I find it odd that the County Commissioners poled voters for their thoughts about the new airport and when the votes were counted over 53% voted NO and 46% voted Yes. Our Commissioners decided on spending millions of tax dollars on a project that was voted against by the majority of voters. Another problem I have is the location of the proposed airport out in the woods in the middle of no ware without the infrastructure to support it! And what about the old airport why does it have to be sold to developers?

Why can’t this property be given to the people of Bay County for our use? Such as 4th of July, Air Shows, Car Shows and any number of other events. We have lost two amusement parks the tower on the beach and other mom and pop business that was the sole of Panama City Beach. It’s been traded for condo canyon. As your County Commissioner I will answer to you the people not the carpetbaggers of the world.
