Freedom of Speech
Freedom of speech and religion is address in the first Amendment of our Constitution. The first ten Amendments (Bill of Rights) and the Bible is the heart, and soul that has allowed our country to become a truly great nation. It’s the glue that has held our society together through war and peace. The founding fathers got it right in the beginning! It’s we the people not we the big government. As your U.S. Senator in Washington I will fight to stop any further tampering with our beloved Constitution. And work to restore the erosion cut into the constitution by liberal minded socialist. War on Terrorism
William T Sherman said it best “War is Hell”. As Americans we have a right to defend our country and its people. I believe that once war has been declared it our duty to fight to win. Once we have defeated, and removed the Tyrant or Rouge Government its time to bring our troops home to live, and fight another day! Not to leave them there to get picked off one by one. When we go to war it’s to win total victory! Not to rebuild their country and give them a better infrastructure then they had before we started. I don’t remember anyone from the Middle East coming over here to help us clean up after 911. As your U.S. Senator I support a strong military. U. S. Gitmo
We are at war and those who are captured during the conflict need to be housed in a prison camp. Our enemy has put to death U.S. Soldiers, and civilian’s contractors by cutting off their heads. Our enemy is not abiding by the Geneva Convention. These prisoners should be housed right were they are. They should be tried just as in Nuremburg Germany at the end of the Second World War by a military tribunal, and off American Soil! The 2nd Amendment
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. The right of the people to keep, and bear arms. Its real simple America our founding fathers did not want our government to get so powerful as to remove our rights without a fight. It’s in our Constitution so we can protect our selves, family, property, against invaders, and yes if need be our own government. Veterans Affairs
Anyone who has served any branch of our armed forces deserves our heartfelt thanks for their sacrifice to our nation. We need to improve our VA Hospitals to make them the best in the world. We need to make changes so survivors wife’s or husbands of deceased veterans don’t have to reapply for benefits in some cases going several months before a check can arrive. We owe our veterans everything for without them there would be no America. They came to America’s aid in time of need, and we need to be there for them in theirs! Social Security
Those of us who have had to work for a living remember the first pay check we ever got. Remember looking at those deductions! Now we have a Congress allowing a president to spend our money like there’s no tomorrow. As your U.S. Senator I will fight to trim down the outrageous spending of your tax dollars, and try to save Social Security. Senior Americans are already struggling to support them selves in this crumbling economy. Washington wants to cut back on as they put it Entitlements! I don’t believe it’s an Entitlement to be reduced! Americans earned that money through their labor, and their pockets got picked on every pay check! It’s their money! Not the governments! So” now that the government has wasted it away they want to reduce retired Senior Americans income? I don’t think SO! Vote Fisher for your U.S. Senator in Washington to save Social Security! Government Take Over Of Healthcare
We have a healthcare system in America, however it’s far from perfect. We do have a lot of Americans slipping through the cracks with no healthcare. In time we can devise a plan to help those in need. We don’t need to bankrupt our country in doing so. It’s not the government’s job to tell doctors how much to charge, which procedure to perform or at what age older Americans health care stops or is to be reduced. Socialized Healthcare does not work! Education
We need to get back to the basics that will allow our children to reach their full potential, and compete on a global level. We send our children to school for the sole purposes to gain an education, not social engineering or brain washing! Let’s get our children the education they need to survive. When old enough they can figure out what, and who they want to be. I would like a standardized program so a child moving from California to Florida can use the same material in the same grade. We could build a volunteer program of former retired educators to help children reach their full potential. Those volunteer’s can receive tax breaks or allotments to help supplement their income. Secure Borders
Without question we have to stop people from just walking into America, and taking jobs from American citizens. We have laws, and there not being enforced. I would like to see enforcement of current laws, and harder penalties for those hiring undocumented workers. As your U.S. Senator I will support any Governor or Sheriff who picks up those without the right to be here. If our government was doing its job now states like Arizona and others Border States would not have to be going to extremes to protect their citizens against non legal border jumpers. Military Infrastructure
A lot of politicians in Washington are playing around like the cold war is over. Well it’s not! The Chinese are building a two hundred ship navy, South Korea is perfecting their rocket program; Iran thinks they need nukes, and our government is more worried about windmills, cutting back on military programs, and taxing America into the poor house. As your U.S. Senator in Washington I will not support cut backs to programs that undermine America’s national security! Energy Independence
Just like all Americans I’m sick and tired of the up and down fuel prices at the gas pump. We have Americans making decisions like do I fill my gas tank to get to work or feed my kids? We need to pump our own oil out of the ground and build more oil refineries. We have the technology to build and safely maintain nuclear power. America is the Saudi Arabia of coal. We can mass produce solar cells, and we are not taking full advantage of the Geothermal resources we have here in America. If you want clean green energy Geothermal is as clean as it gets! The by product is water.
I’m for everything that can eliminate any dependence on foreign oil for ever! It’s a matter of national security! The Environment
We need to protect our environment however I do not believe we need to destroy our economy to do so. We here about global warming day after day on the liberal media machine, and how its man’s fault. I find it funny that the media does not cover other natural environmental causes like the more then two hundred volcanoes on the oceans floor. There is so much frozen methane gas coming out of the North Atlantic Sea floor British Petroleum is trying to tape into it for energy. We all see the changes in our environment however other developing nations don’t care about what their pumping into the environment.
If you really want to slow down global warming stop buying foreign goods. American factories have been modified to reduce poor air emissions years ago. As your U.S. Senator I will fight for our environment using common sense refraining from loading unrealistic regulations on American industry. Americans 1st for Employment
If you’re a legal American no matter race, creed, or color you should be able to work. You should not have to compete with unscrupulous contractors who are paying undocumented workers under the table. It’s illegal and has to be stopped. You should as Americans report to local law enforcement those you feel are doing this practice. Illegal workers are steeling the bread from the tables of your fellow Americans. Corporate America
As Americans we like to see fair play in business. Congress has basically sat on their hands letting Banks, and Wall Street get away with murder in regards to our economy. Rules and safeguards were not followed; common sense was tossed out the window. As your U.S. Senator in Washington I would like to see the rules followed. Our Government should not be in the business of firing corporate heads or determining their salaries. Vote Fisher for your U.S. Senator in Washington!
The Budget
The Governments budget should work just like most Americans. We don’t spend more then we take in and we don’t rob from Peter to pay Paul. However the Congress has blinders on when spending your hard earned money! As your U.S. Senator I will fight against any Bill that contributes to wasteful spending. I will also Vote No on Bill’s that place excessive regulation on our industries that harms America’s ability to be competitive worldwide! The Economy
I’m sick and tired of seeing American factories close down causing loyal Americans to lose their jobs, homes, and way of life. We hear speeches now coming from the White House that we have to make sacrifices! What I’d like to know is who is the We” in those speeches? We elect public officials to go to Congress to pass laws to protect us, the American People! Our way of life, our Constitution, and the right to be proud Christians if that is what we wish. We have been making sacrifices every time we pay taxes; see our loved one’s go to war, and in some cases to never return. So we have been making sacrifices. The real problem is Loyalty! Loyalty to the American People! Our government’s sole purpose is to protect the Constitution, defend its people and their rights for a capitalist society. American Industry
Ross Perot had it right; if we pass NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) there would be a sucking sound in the air from all the jobs, and factories leaving our country. What he said then was true, and is now an absolute fact! It started with our textile industry, then to tools, electronics, and more; Go to any small town in America and you will see closed factories everywhere. Down town business districts are in most cases in decay. Why? Because those in the position of power in government have lost focus on whom they are and were they came from. Now just like dominos the big cities are losing their manufacturing base to support their communities. American should not have to ask or beg for credit from anyone. ! As your U.S. Senator I will do my best to end NAFTA, and by doing so support the will of the American people who want to see those jobs come home to America. Bailouts
Wow! It’s obvious some in power have never experienced hard times before. It’s easy to throw away someone else’s money when it’s not yours. Most of us have had to work like dogs most of our lives and we’ve never been bailed out for anything by anybody. If we make it that’s great! If we fail we fail and try to pick our selves up by our bootstraps to try again. AIG, Bank of America, and the Auto Industry are privet corporations and using our tax money to dump into there laps before knowing all the facts is bad business. Not something I would have approved as your U.S. Senator. Let’s get all the facts first before we gamble all the gold in Ft. Knox! Abortion
I feel that life starts at conception. Once the egg is fertilized it’s on its way to becoming a human being. It some states if a drunk driver kills an expecting mother he is charger with the murder of both. And there’s no big argument over the age of the fetus. A woman does have the right to have an Abortion under federal law, but that does not mean that I have to agree with it. Rape and Incest comes down to the women’s decision to abort or not to abort. I believe children are the future! I believe adoption is a better solution then the death of a child. Vote Fisher for your U.S. Senator who support’s life!
Cap & Trade
Now we have another hoax on the horizon called the cap and trade bill. In my view this so call energy bill will totally cripple American business to the point we will no longer be competitive in a global market. It’s obvious to me that we need to protect our environment. However I do not believe we need to destroy our economy to do so. Under this new program companies would be required to reduce their emissions or purchase allowances at the American consumer expense, and it will be painful. Identity Theft
We need to pass new legislation that will have some real teeth for those victims of Identity Theft. Americans young and old have been victimized by scammers from here and overseas. Foreign governments should be held accountable for the actions of their citizens, and should be made to make restitution to their victims. NASA
As your U.S. Senator I will do everything in my power to restore our space agency to its former glory. Our space program has been getting by on a wing and a prayer far to long. This program should have an astronaut as the administrative head on site. Not a general without the required experience. We need to rebuild the agency! We are a space faring nation, and its way past time for us to reach out beyond our moon to explore our own system. This will create jobs and help rebuild America’s economy. Israel
The national of Israel has a right to defend it self. Israel has been one of our strongest allies in that part of the world. To turn our back or reduce our support of that nation would be a mistake we can’t afford. Israel’s claim to their home land is recorded in the Bible. I would like to get involved to help the People of Israel, and the Palestinian People come to an agreement that would allow peace for all in that region of the world. The Tea Party
I support the Tea Party because those folks that turns out to these meetings are in the most part good GOD fearing Americans. Americans with good conservative values who fear that the America they grew up in and help build is now being dismantled piece by piece. We drove to Atlanta to be part of that Tea Party. We were very proud to be a part of it. Those in the liberal media were trying to make it out to be a race issue but they were dead wrong. It was about Americans of all races standing together as one to voice their concerns, and fears on America’s direction. Pink slips, foreclosures, and hunger due to a crumbling economy will not discriminate against anyone no matter race or creed! Vote Fisher for your U.S. Tea Party Senator in D.C.!
Freedom of Information Act
Unless it is a matter of national security no federal agency should be immune from American citizens requesting information from their government. After all, these agencies are funded with tax dollars from the people. Detailed technical info on defense systems falls under national security. The cost of research and development are not. Americans have a right to know what Congress is spending their money on. Personally I’d like to know where all the Bailout money is! Vote Fisher for your U.S. Senator in Washington!
Legislative Bills
No Bill should be thousands of pages long or so long no elected official has time to read it before it’s voted on. Pork add-ons need to be stopped now and each issue needs to stand on its own. Trying to hide wasteful programs in between thousands of pages is an insult to the American people. They deserve better from their government then the bait and switch technique. Federal Reserve Bank
The Federal Reserve Bank is not a federal agency! It is a privately owned business disguised as a federal agency. Most folks never think about our monetary system. As long as that green stuff in your wallet or pocketbooks is legal tender for all matters public and privet everyone believes that everything is all right. The reality is it's all an illusion to keep you fooled that the American financial system is really controlled by the Federal Government. The word Federal was included into the name Federal Reserve to give it the faults impression of genuine government agency so few would question its legitimacy.
The Federal Reserve was signed into law by then President Woodrow Wilson around 1913. I read that after the signing of the bill he stated my GOD I think I may have destroyed my own country. Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr. was quoted "When the President signs this bill, the invisible government of the monetary power will be legalized…the worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking and currency bill." Nobel Prize winning economist and Stanford University Professor Milton Friedman stated in a 1999 interview that The Federal Reserve definitely caused the Great Depression.
Thomas Jefferson once stated; I sincerely believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties then standing armies. The issuing power should be taken from banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs. Now when your local U.S. Congressman and U. S. Senator comes home don't pat them on the back because all they have done is to support a failed banking system that keeps the American people broke, and controls your government all the way up to the White House. Look up this information on line and it will make you sick, and also make you wonder why this practice has been aloud for so long. Remember no taxation without representation!
This is not a conspiracy theory but conspiracy fact. Republicans, Democrats, Independents, every man, women, child has already been sold into indentured slavery from the stroke of a pin in 1913. In essence we are all in debt from birth and there fore the property of the creditors, the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank System. I agree with Charles A. Politics in General
The American people in general are sick and tired of all the playing around in Washington D.C. They’re also fed up with the republican and democrats parties standing around pointing fingers at each other placing blame. The truth told both parties are to blame for all the problems we now face. America has lost respect around the world and here at home. Only a strong America will survive what the future has in store for our nation. We have to focus on the issues that will build up America such as our economy, military, our borders, and lift the regulations bankrupting American industry.
